white faced hornets again

This one was only about 12 - 15 feet up. Snipped it out from the ground. And yeah, there is some swelling around the eye and a lot of itching which surprised me since I've never had a reaction like that before.

Pretty much a cold winter everywhere so I'm betting high rather than low. Curious to see the responses. I think arthritis would have to be pretty bad to make it worth it.

"Guard bee"....hornets aren't bees. I'll take a bee any day...well, not africanized honey bees.

OK, How about the gatekeeper then?
