Know what the sources or age is?

According to a link on their website, it's a blend of their own 2 year aged bourbon, an 8 year old Tennessee whiskey, and a 4 year old Kentucky bourbon. Not too revealing.

At least it's not another MGP sourced whiskey.

They can be fine when blended and barrelled properly but they're all too common now

I drink Teeling Irish or Jamesons Caskmates aged in Stout barrels . Also like a Colorado Whisky called Stranahans , I like the single batch version .

Pricey but 104 proof and a definite better blend than the usual small batch

I found a unicorn today.

I haven't seen this outside of Louisville. 100 proof 6-7+ year rye aged in Caribbean rum barrels that were originally cognac barrels. Very, very small batch in the truest sense. Sweet and rich, a true dessert whiskey.
