I just visited an owner of a 650 last week and shot some video. It's a nice compact truck and the Mecanil grapple saw cuts like a laser due to the 5/8" lines on the crane.
I also paid a visit to @CanaryBoss a few weeks ago... he's got some awesome ideas that he is implementing... stay tuned for that.
It seems like most people are going with the 65tm or larger knucklebooms... a couple years ago it was mostly 40tm. Bigger is definitely better in this line of work.
The best thing to do is to talk to actual owners and operators of the models you are interested in.
