Where does Yale’s Prizm fall in? Is it blue moon or focus/ivy. That jacket tells me blue moon family, but wondering what you may know....?I'd you've decided on blue moon I'll suggest you go with @swingdude's above suggestion and grab focus instead.
Idk why vendors (and Yale themselves) continue to claim blue moon = focus / poison ivy cause as much as they insist its the same it isnt... Focus and Ivy however are the same rope just different, vendor specific color pallets of "Yale XTC24 11.7mm".
Not to say blue moon is bad but focus/ivy does edge it out slightly, even though Yale will flat out tell you they're the same thing.
Another one of those days when shortnstubby can't reach across the screen pad?eore
My only experience with prisim is a well used hank a coworker gave me so I can't fully answer your question. It was near EOL but I'd say, in that state, it wasn't very much like well wore PI/ Focus. I'd be confident telling you to pass unless you're going for the blue moon type...Where does Yale’s Prizm fall in? Is it blue moon or focus/ivy. It’s a thick feeling 11.7 with a great hand feel. Also more expensive. I am not sure if it is the same construction as Poison Ivy et al. I loved it, at the time I was using a HH2. Post retirement, it took down a pole barn among other fun tasks. For two years it’s been the rope railing on my cabin and the UV has worn the stale puke down to an even staler puke. I would buy this rope again, but there’s so many to choose from these days and I like to keep trying what’s out there.Prism is tough ass rope. Gets ugly like stale puke. But is like the energizer bunny. Goes forever. All in the dyes I keep telling you. Blue sucks.....
