What is this?

Came across this today and am having difficulty ID'ing it. I know someone out there knows what this is! Looks like a Maple, but the branching and leaves are arranged alternately. I don't think it's a Sycamore because of the white underside of the leaf. Thanks in advance for the help!

Haha, I get so stoked when I come to the ID forum and no one has had a crack at the new TFAD, but I'm usually late. I really need to start contributing, I take all the guesses and contribute nothing... Sorry guys, soon.
 
Thanks much! I don't see too many of these around here. Just happened to be one of the last green things around as the leaves fall and it caught my eye. Tried many ID keys and even leafsnap with none of them even suggesting this. Just another reason I love this site!

Okay, Treeness - head over to TFAD and help out on the most recent one.
Everyone seems to be baffled.
