What is a Perfect Day for You?

For me it would be working in a really big tree needing crown cleaning or restoration. It would be something with a high central tie - in (So not an elm). This would take all day maybe for two people.
A cool but not cold day would be a nice enhancement. I love that I get paid for this (when it comes up).

Oh...
and when I got home I would find out that I had a very wealthy uncle who left me a small tropical island with a fully serviced house on it.

And lastly, I would have two or three top drawer brews...

It would be a perfect day. What's yours?

OK.... but how 'bout a two or three cases of top drawer brews... 'cause I'll have friends over.

Also, a private concert for everyone by Bat For Lashes and Buck 65!

Climbing an underbid tree, then chipping Maple brush followed by curvy Cedar. Maybe throw in some hedge trimming.
When I get home, my wife lost her cell phone and credit card and the three kids have horse lessons, cheerleading and a poopy diaper.
At last, I can get to an AA meeting and have some bad coffee.

-just kidding!

Hanging with my wife on a beach somewhere tropical.Just depends on the day i guess.Or hanging with my wife and watching Taylor drinking them beers at some trendy veegan hangout with bad service after we climbed like slaves that day.ha ha.ALSO He keeps dropping them buck 65 hooks and them bombs, checking old european chicks he digs cracking me wife and dog up.

Seriously...

A mix of everything.

Crane felling in the morning. Rigging removal after lunch. Then, two or three formative prunes!

Then retire to the comfort of a wood stove heated cabin with lots of friends, beer, and videos of tree work!

Steelers beating the crap out of Green Bay this week!!!

I'd settle for isolating the perfect 80' TIP on the first throw of the day ... with everyone watching.

Somehow you know; it's gonna be a good day.

wake up about 530 am on a spring day go for a 4 mile run to the beach and find big sets rolling in.

start my work day by doing a big canopy cleaning (while dreaming of those big sets).

finish work about 4 pm, go home grab the surf board and go surfing for an hour or two,

then go have a beer or two and a bite to eat at the local watering hole

hit the shower then lay in bed and read till I can't see the pages.

Hey you guys get real waves over there on the east coast surfarmer? I've been seeing a lot of photos from that side on surfline, it looks like it goes off and the crowd factor is sweet!

Nothing can beat that feeling of coming over the hill and seeing the ocean stretched out in front of your dashboard with lines of cordury out to see, offshore breeze and empty, spitting 8 ft. peak, lightly feathering from the wind, Gets me tingling just thinking about it...

X2.

Plus a double cappucino at lunch.

Plus Murphy's stout after dinner.

treeandsurf,,

yeah, it goes off during storms I live near a point break with ledge base..south and east exposure... when it goes off you can get double head high or more..not like hawaii but it'll do (and the beers cheaper)

winter gives us natural crowd control..
