He visited Oz in January/February this year (2006)

Plenty of great little ideas and tips in this one. You'll see snap cuts in action, spikeless climbing and footlocking (which he's real good at).

Yes he does a palm and has to overcome his fear of spiders. Learn the Borewing cut .. that's for dealing with the compression that you encounter with palms.

The whistle gets a work out too .... ahhh, he had 3 chances ... all fun though the whistle thing.

This is pretty much an edit of all the tree work stuff we did that got on video, a biggie.

A huge 24.41mins long and a massive 124.44MB in streaming WMV format. It's a big flick.

Looks like your boy is coming along, seems like he is new to this.

In the video he is passing his rope up over a limb by clipping the ends together and then pulling his tail wich is pulling his biners and prussic up and over. He says when it works it works and when it doesn't your stuck. Also said you need to know when to use it.

What if I said you can use anywhere it not ever get stuck? Do just as he is but the one detail is not to pull the tail first. What you want to do is grab either side of the continous loop wich he wants to pull up. Run this loop until your biners and prussic are run up higher than the limb you want to pass over. Now pull the tail that is on the other side of the limb pulling your hitch back down to you. This will never get stuck.

Hope this helps. There is always a trick to the trick.

Great video guys. It's easy to see you two get along well. Expect to see Ekka on a Vt any day now and footlocking too!
