Vermeer SC1102A Stump Grinder

Interesting response. Obviously from somebody who has limited experience with the larger Vermeer products, if any at all.

From a historical perspective, Vermeer invented the Stump Grinder as we know it today.

If you can find one that will outperform my SC1102A with remote control, let me know - because I have not yet seen one.

Vermeer is NOT junk. Our SC 502 has been running strong for close to 10 years now. Sorry your having problems with your pen...

My little sc 252 has had its azz handed to it several times. With new bushings teeth a belt or two it has always shined. Give me a Vermeer chipper and I'll set it free down the nearest boat ramp.

I would have to agree that Vermeer stump grinders are solid. We have gotten several good years out of them. We are running a 502 now that just won't give up. I think this one is bomb proof.
