Vermeer 1230 Brush Chipper Perkins Fuel Pump Solenoid

Hello all,
I have a Vermeer 1230 chipper at Boy Scout Camp that we use to try and keep the camp sites clean with. It runs great and does an awesome job, BUT the fuel cutoff solenoid has failed and I need to buy a new one.

can anyone help me identify the part I’d number and if you know the best place to get an replacement. Don’t have a lot of money since I am buying this out of my own pocket to help the camp.

Kinda surprised no one has stepped up Robert. That is kinda unusual with this bunch. Obviously you can check with Vermeer but I can tell you they will be twice the price of a regular auto parts store. If you can get a part number off the bad solenoid you might have some luck. Sorry I can't help out more. Best of luck.
