Utility Denied, Trees Pruned

The independent consulting arborist will meet with utility colleagues, successfully defend the specs and the pruning/tgr work, and move on. The lawyers will slow down this process but they cannot stop it.

Meanwhile the tree owner is not giving an inch, pressing for property rights in the land of the free.

Sounds to me like the guy didn't so much care if the tree was removed, but wanted a complete cleanup (including stump removal) which he knew the utility wouldn't do.

If it were me, knowing what I know, I wouldn't want something as unpredictable as a willow tree in such proximity to high voltage power lines

I agree it seems strange to lose an asset but complain about a stump
