Use GIS to organize your business

@evo, I have no idea how your client list is currently stored or what software you use to create and maintain it, but there should be an Export function somewhere that will create a CSV file of your data which I assume will contain your client addresses in addition to other data. It sounds like you want to visualize your clients on a map. If that's so, you can import your CSV file in a personal Google Map that you create (links below), and it will place a labeled marker at each address. (You may need to remove all columns except name and address fields from the CSV file first.) You will have to zoom in to manually find the ones that are within that city, and I'm not sure what you will do at that point. I don't know an automated way to select those clients or if there are too many to manually select from your CSV file. I don't know if this helps, but I thought I would throw it out there just in case.

For clarity, I have already exported the CSV. The issue is in my area the city addresses go well beyond city limits (literally 4 miles outside of city limits) has the same postal address and zip.
The city has a GIS map which shows city limits, but no way to import or search for bulk addresses to see who is in or out.

I found a way to import my CSV into Google Earth Pro, and apply a city limits layer. However I cannot group select the pins within city limits and export these into a CSV (or anything) to figure out who is in city limits or not.

Only manual options of single address search at a time. Over the past decade I have about 450 addresses which I believe are in city limits.

Yeah, like someone else said, sort by zip. I think mapping it/GIS would actually be overkill here. If your client list is in a spreadsheet already, you should be able to filter and or sort by zip codes to get what you need.
For scale the city is about a square mile. Postal city and Zip are about 12 square miles.

I know it can be done in arcmap...It's been a while so I cannot step-by-step through it. It can most likely be done in QGIS, but I haven't played with that much at all.

Thinking through some other options...can you get parcel data from the County Auditor? Can that data be sorted for inside/outside city limits? I would assume it can be.

If that's in Excel/csv, now import your client data and filter for matching addresses.
I will try to leverage an address list from the city itself. Obviously I need to know where I have to comply, and constantly looking at their maps is too much. Both city and county use ArcGIS

They should be able to provide a list of addresses. If they won't, you might reach out to the law director and express concern about a burdensome law that they will not support your efforts to follow. Here I'm sure I can get that from the County Auditor as it's in their database as well.
