Tsumura bar rivets

Just got a new Tsumura lightweight bar. Never had one before, but looks to me like the rivets that attach the tip aren’t fully peened. Is this normal for Tsumura bars? Definitely not what I’m used to on any other brand bars I’ve used. And when I replace tips myself I always peen them pretty flush.IMG_3077.jpeg

I'm gonna go check, but I have that going on with a few bars; ECHO and Sugihara, I think. All Japanese, and none have ever given me issues, as weird as it seems

Have ran tsumara bars for years. In timber falling and tree work. The rivets that hold the tip on are usually always proud. They usually cause no issues. Have had to file/grind them down on some bars as the rivets would make the tip hang up a bit. Otherwise they are great bars at a reasonable price. I would recommend not greasing the sprocket tip bearing. Had problems with blowing the tips out after greasing them. That was also with a lot of bore cutting felling timber.
