How many man hours did you have into the job and how close were you to your estimate.

right @ 24hrs (3 days) - on the 1st day there was only 2 of us, 3 people for the remainder - got 3600 but it was worth more I think - pretty stressful job.

Well TreeLogic, I know you are probably very fair so sunblock up bro, I work in the sun most days but I have a huge tan...lotsa pigment...try wearing a bandana on those long days exposed to the sun....good work bro again....

Sunblock...I was afraid y'all would say that. Feels like I'm wearing a plastic bag when I'm in the tree...and the sawdust sticks like glue...
guess it's better than having chunks of my neck removed by a surgeon when I get older.

SUNBLOCK!?!?!

Gimme a break fellas, we're still wearing long johns and bellaclavas, I know your in a MUCH warmer climate but please don't rub it in, dang!

Nice job on the removal tl. 3600 ain't bad for a small crew with minimal equipment.

LOL! I was wondering when the frostbiters were gonna chime in on that! These nice spring temps don't last for long around here. Our summers are rough. I usually bring 3 or 4 tee-shirts a day.

Man it is nice to see others doing it too! Feel like the LONE ranger at times, but joining this site and seeing others rocking and rolling at it in those trees, I know Im not alone! Great Job and overcoming the challenges you did! You will remember that one for ever! PASSION FOR TREES!

Had I known TL could get a bobcat into that alley?

I would've speedlined that spar down onto the front bucket.

Bobcats make excellent speed line anchors.

Nice Work! A GRCS would have made your life a LOT easier on this removal.

Yeah, I gotta get one. Of course I also want a Wraptor, a mini skid, and a spider lift. Help me tell my wife...

Tell me more Jomoco. What size pieces to cut, etc.

Kinda redundant now TL.

You did a good safe job, and that's what counts mate.

But to answer your question. Four footers with a mid tie, onto a taught 3/4 speedline.

Gotcha. Not redundant, might help next time. I'll probably need to splice up some hefty eye/eye slings for that. I think your idea would've made things a bit easier. Where to attach line to bucket...everything's so sharp?
