Hi All,
Myself, Brian, and the whole production crew just returned yesterday from the site of the Treeverse project.
Brian and I put our feet back on the earth yesterday (Sunday) around 1pm after leaving it on Wednesday around 8am. In the meantime, we covered nearly 1km of horizontal distance and lived in the canopy for 5 days and 4 nights, taking everything with us and leaving nothing behind.
Thanks so much to everyone who supported us through the kickstarter site, we definitely couldn't have done it without the amazing support we received from our friends, colleagues and people we've never met.
We also owe a huge debt of gratitude to our major corporate sponsors as well: Asia Tree Preservation, Sterling Rope, Samson Rope, Sherrill Tree, Pro Photo Supply, Next Adventure, Rock Exotica, Freesolo LLC, Smartwool, Scarpa, Gerber Knives, Innate Gear, Widmer Brothers Brewery, Climb Max Mountaineering, NW Aero Pix and Red Reel Video.
I'll have some pics to post up here soon, and video clips in a little bit. In the meantime you can check out the Ascending the Giants facebook page for photos and such.
