Feel free to call me on my cell to talk about this. No discounts have been changed. 440.989.0444

I won't bother you with it. I figured it was one of two things. Either part of the acquisition or something to do with the company the discount was associated with.... And a beef they had with you guys. That's none of my business. I'd love to still get the discount but I no longer work there anyway. I can get what I need at the same costs through work I think... Was just nice ordering it on my own lol

Richard the code is still working fine. We have checked it and tested it. I am emailing you separately to confirm.
I only know what the club members report to me.

"TreeStuff denied my ATCC coupon today. They said that it was no longer valid. What are others experiencing? I told them that we really valued it and we were going to miss not having it."

Thank you Nick for your assistance.

Richard

I'm quoting yoyman's post here, but will be responding to a few others as well. I checked in with Carson over at TreeStuff on these issues and he told me the ATCC code is still active in their system. I don't know why it didn't work, or why someone told them it wasn't valid, but the good news is that it IS valid.

JustinK mentioned a code not working, but Carson also said that none of their discount codes have been turned off. I don't know which code Justin was talking about, but it should should still work, no matter which one it is.

As for Paul/RopeTek, Carson said Luke received your email around noon and is in the middle of typing a response. I asked about their phone volume today and Carson said it was normal. I don't have an answer as to why no one answered Paul's call(s).

I absolutely don't mind addressing these questions. I know you all are concerned, and I understand completely. Please feel free to post here, or contact me via PM.

Thanks!

-Sean
Thank you for addressing this. We have a great and very active club and it is an important part of my activities.

fwiw, Mr. Bonner, (precious little, of course :raro2:) any further TreeStuff purchases will be predicated upon the SAKA being reinstated for sale.
And that's all I got to say about that. I'm tired.
Dave

You guys are noticing it now, but the Saka was removed from our site prior to the sale of the business. We have questions relating to intellectual property around this category and have chosen to tread lightly until we get it sorted out.

I just placed a big order. Coupons worked, all the inventory I needed was available, prices are still the most competitive, and service is still great. From my experience thus far, business as usual and there is no "there, there".

Thanks for the clarification Nick.
Seems a bit odd (masochistic?) that you would continue to do business with a litigious client (Michael) who has threatened legal action against your company.
Anyway, all the best, and you do what you gotta do and I'll do likewise. Cheers.

Some clarification:

There is no unraveling, someone (NOT TreeStuff or Sherrill) is threatening to sue other people and we are trying to stay out of it.

TreeStuff is desperately trying to keep its relationship with Paul and Ropetek. We are happy to continue selling the entire line of RopeTek products and paying the licensing fee we have always paid to Paul for using the Ropetek name on the helmet combos we assemble in house using SENA Bluetooth equipment, and popular helmets made by Kask, Petzl, Pfanner, and the like. Business as usual if that's what Paul wants. There you have it, you heard it from the guy in charge.

Regarding our phone staff and service, it's the same crew as last month doing the same job, maybe thats the problem because we just keep getting busier. We are adding new people all the time to make sure we can keep up, and Monday is our busiest day of the week every week. There have been no changes to the way we serve customers, and there won't be. It isn't a secret as to how to offer awesome service, if we stop doing it someone else will, where is the logic in that for us?

None of our coupons were changed in fact I just extended a bunch of them last week, to make sure that none would expire.

Mine and Luke's team here in Indy hasn't changed nor has our mission. We have gotten stronger. If you have a crazy complaint or weird experience feel free to call me directly, 440.989.0444 (if I don't answer TEXT me!). Making unfound accusations and trying to correlate things that have nothing to do with each other here in public postings is not accurate or necessary.

Y'all know me for god sakes, if this place becomes a bad place to shop, it will have become a bad place to work. In which case I will be hightailing it looking for another job... I'm not. We are still having fun and doing our best. I hope you guys can recognize that. Now, back to planning for JAMBO and working on the Rope Runner 2.

Nick if you can say...."What is the bump out for?" I see it is captured in at least 2 dimensions but I can't put my head around the use of it yet. I do like what appears to be a centralized tending point now. I might even borrow that idea for some mods to my runner.

Thanks for that clarification and edit and now to be very clear, NEITHER SAKA, MY LAWYER, NOR ME OR MY YOYO are suing OR threatening to sue anyone.

I don't have any inside knowledge on th new runner, but... from what I can see and from what I know of the old version, it looks like the middle bump out is a solution to the loose pin problem. If I am correct it allows the side plate to open without fully removing the slic pin.

"There is no unraveling, someone (NOT TreeStuff or Sherrill) is threatening to sue other people and we are trying to stay out of it."

Makes perfect sense... Richard is expendable cause someone who isn't him is threatening to sue someone who isn't you! I like your thinking, Nick! It is positively Machiavellian, and that Machiavelli fellow knew a thing or two about mayhem. Or mebbe that was Rasputin.

congrats to luke and Sherrill
. Sherrill is a good company. as is trees tuff.

if you guys are talking about me, which I really hope your not, first please don't hijack such a important thread if you must do this start a new thread.., but second please do all of us a favor and back up and make sure any of this is even true. I know that is how these things go, but I work with you guys, I do shows, and comps and all kinds of stuff. I don't want bad relationships because a stupid rumor was started, you all mean too much to me.. the damage that can be done is paramount, even if someday we all realize it was not true, there are a lot of people on here reading this and they may never get the whole story for themselves.
