Don't be so hasty Bob, things could go the other way. Maybe Sherrill will lower their prices, give better service, and straighten out their website....oh wait I think I see unicorn out my window, yes ,yes it is.....I gotta go

I do not buy much gear at all so I have only heard about the good prices, service and freebees that came from Treestuff. My concerns are how Sherrill is turning Treestuff into a corporate sloth and being treated fairly as a vendor.

I am proud of Casey’s work at New Tribe, but I want to say that he is expressing his own opinions in his posts here, and not those of New Tribe.

It’s true that New Tribe has an uneven history with Sherrilltree, so we were concerned that the acquisition might bring unwelcome change to our very happy relationship with TreeStuff.

In fact, in the months since the announcement, our relationship with TreeStuff has remained strong, and with Sherrilltree it has improved. Although I wondered what kind of changes we'd see, what appears now is a good outlook for all of us. I apologize to Tree Stuff, to Sherrilltree, and to our community, for posts coming out of New Tribe that do not reflect this hope.

I am very proud and grateful for our connection to TreeStuff. I’m glad to see that it is promoting positive change between New Tribe and Sherrilltree as well. We can stop beating that dead horse!

If there are specific concerns there are a bunch of us going to sherrill to discuss all this in November. Let us know if you want a specific question asked

Please tell Sherrill to fix their website. It's pretty and flashy, but it doesn't work. Whoever built it has probably not used it to shop for specific items. Pick a pole saw part and try to find the options on Sherrill's website. God help you if you end up in their "replacement parts" category. Or suppose you wanted something like an AlturnaMat, but, before spending a thousand dollars plus, you wanted to know and to compare the various alternatives for this sort of thing.

Their shipping department makes me think of my groundies after a night of debauchery. I ordered a hank of climbing rope at the end of September. I've called them twice to fix their mistakes about this order. It's Oct. 18th now. I qualified for their two-day shipping and I live less than an hour's drive from Greensboro. And this instance aside, I always receive my orders from Indiana faster.

On both these complaints, they'd do well to just learn from Tree Stuff. Hopefully it goes that way and not the other way around.

I'm noticing an uptick in items that are out of stock in my Tree Stuff check out carts. The deals and promos there seem to be fewer and farther between of late. I hope both trends--especially the first--are short lived.

I also have noticed this. I thought maybe I was just being a conspiracy theorist and it was just in my mind. However I jus placed and order and several items were out of stock. That is a problem when you have to wait three weeks to get a new kask helmet for a new employee.

I have also noticed things out of stock. Not too much to raise a concern for me though, but noted as unusual. Nish. If you don't get resolution please feel free to send me or Deevo your order number and details via PM and will will ask in person.

From here it looks like the paid air fare, other travel cost being paid and GTG cost is just Sherrill paying for advertising. So you shills keep whoopin' it up good now, ya hear!

I'd rather see lower prices for all than air fare paid for a few.

Yes.

Please talk to those guys over at a company called treestuff.com, and take notes on how they do it.

Thanks.

P.S.

The ability to view full site on a phone is SWEET!!

The everything backordered problem is really strange... some things that say, "ships in two to three weeks" have been backordered for months.
I know the two companies wanted to be able to leverage their warehousing operations to the benefit of all, and maybe this is the consequence of trying to do that, who knows? Maybe they're just suffering from hangovers and forgot to order stuff. I suspect that whatever the reason... it's probably not a big conspiracy between the Tooth Fairy, Hillary Clinton and "Gubbermint" intervention. Still, would be nice to know what's up with that shit.
