Trees from a distance

Last one, this is one of the largest black locusts i have ever come across, it is about 60' tall

I saw something like a pod that looked a little longer in the first phot, that's why I went with Catalpa... Hey, I was in the right family LOL!

Jeff is right, they get really tall around here, then they fail, usually leaving giant, stringy hangers, hung way the heck up in rotted out, unsafe stems. Other than the fragrant flowers and the fact that they are good nitrogen rechargers, I am not a big fan.

oh, here is the real tree picture.

might be easy, but interesting.

it's the tree laying down, but growing up as well. the one that takes up most of the picture.

I have no idea what it is.

it's a small ornamental and the caretaker didn't know what it was either.
