Trees from a distance

That one is the lowest branched specimen I have seen. I was considering cerned that there was a disease that affected lower branches. Every example I have seen has only the top 25% branched.
 
Problem for us Yanks is we're just coming out of winter now. Flying over Columbus today I noticed Pyrus starting to bloom but that doesn't look like one.

TNM gets the prize. It is a quite pleasant tree. Flowers are fragrant and lilac like, foliage gets a bluish cast to it a little later on.
