Trees from a distance

That's what I thought too, Ted, but the crowns seem a little too bushy, and there are alot of small upturned whips around the bottom of the crowns. The lowest left branch and the V crotch on the left tree looks alot like A. saccharum, though. We shall see!

This one is the closest yet.
HEY HEY...these are not my trees.
Kinda looks like the might have been topped once. Maybe to make Thneeds.
 
ahhh...yes.
I was hoping when I took it to capture the yellow tips on the Silver Maples, as well as the red tips on the Red Maple.
The buds are just starting to open here. If you look closely at the pic, it does come through a little.
Good job.
