Here it is. This one is especially for Tom. It is the one with the dead hanger on it.

Laugh hearty Tom, That's what it is. Especially for you. There is one just across on the other side of the trail that is 60 to 70 feet tall, but the pic didn't come out very good. BRT: The site is a rails to trails linear park that runs through commercial and residential areas and the dense vegetation is a planned part of the site. It is actually a very nice trail of 11.5 miles and this end is heavily used. I ride my bike there often. It connects with another trail in our downtown area and combined one can do a nearly 50 mile round trip bike ride. Tom, you are up!

I gotcha Oldoak. Those bike trails are nice. My in-laws go to one in WV. It covers some old railroad track that is no longer in use. One part is over a ravine and they've built a bridge across for bike and foot traffic. The in-laws have a great time--I haven't been there yet.

Conversion of old abandoned RR beds to trail systems is a great use of land that is otherwise unsuitable for just about anything else. The City took a lot of flak over this project, but the amount of use has more than Besides connecting with the Riverwalk trail in downtown, it also connects two parks and a mountain bike trail in the one park. A year ago I was home in PA for vacation and did a trail there that was first the towpath for the Pennsylvania Canal and then the RR bed. There are still remanants of the locks for the canal as well as lock master houses. The cool thing about that trail is that there is only a minimal elevation rise over the 16 miles. Sorry I can't remember the exact elevation change. It was a cool ride too.
