Those "wing-tips" on the side of its leaves look very familiar....hmmmmm.... Populus ??? of some subspecies.

Eastern bottle trees have pretty blue glass buds on them year around!

Gimme a day to get a new one up.
 
Well, the leaves did have that poplar-look to them hence the species name populneus.
When I saw the seed pods I thought of the cacao tree's pods.
I looked it up and it's in the cacao family - Sterculiaceae.
Great tree Arbor101.
