Nope. The bark is usually a giveaway for ID on this one.

Ha! Well that clue doesn't help me out: my other thoughts were Zelkova, Celtis occidentalis, and Carya glabra. All three have bark "usually a giveaway for ID"

Maybe I'll commit to Carya glabra...
