Trees from a distance

william might have gotten it, but some of those leaves might look too big for willow oak, so maybe they are toothed, so I say Pin Oak, Quercus palustris

my second guess is scarlet oak.

Just because it's a cool specie, like Quercus velutina, that might not cut it.

Those leaves look really small to me.

Watch, now that I said that, it will be a black oak.

1 - american elm

3 - siberian elm

4 - virginia pine

(is #3 pointing to the tree on the left in full view, and # 4 just the top of a tree peaking over?)

Yes. sorry not clearer.

Robinia, daaaeeeeunmm! #1 and #3 correct

#4 only one left. Top of tree only shows

I'm going with Nyssa sylvatica on the treetop #4. That flat-top is pretty distinct to just a few trees... And I don't think it's a Cedar of Lebanon based on the landscape.

Sweet Robinia!

yes, that top is Robinia pseudoacacia.

the forground is a crappy silver maple in bad shape due from cows.

I don't mind you posting Matt, glad you did, that was cool. I've been too busy, with the 250 yr old black oak. So, glad you posted.

Kinda part me anyway.

That is my family's farm.
