Trees from a distance

Yeah, it's Ginkgo biloba.
Maybe my Dirr is out of date. I didn't see anything listed that sounded like this...
Never seen one like this before or since.
Nice work. I foolishly thought this might be a bit tougher!
 
i am not sure anything is too tough for tom, i dont have enough pictures to fool him, he's good. that was a good shot rob, i have not seen a ginko that looks like that. my dirr's alsd has ginko. i think it depends on edition.
 
hey i think your up, try it now. i am sure he will accept the challenge, so will i and tom is alot better than i am. i have a tough time with pictures, give me a real tree in person, but pictures i have a sight issue.
 
Hey, I got Ginkgo first! And Ted spelled it wrong anyway!

So here's one for your guessing pleasure.

I'll be in trees all day tomorrow, so if no one gets it by about 7:30 AM, it'll have to wait.

well i must be blind i do not see the buds, if what i am seeing they appear reddish color? acer rubra but i can not really see buds. just bark and limbs--shape but no buds
 
Starlet I really liked the guess of bitternut. I was thinkin mockernut at least on the same page.I also look at the buds and think Acer. those buds look like Acer saccharinum.
