My next offering should be easy, but you never know:

I think this tree is an Oak, a White Oak - Quercus whitus or sumfin like dat.

What about a Liquidamber styraciflua ?

BTW, Tom, you've got a very nice looking cat

And I agree some cats are definitely smarter than others!

Dwelch has it! (I was also there for the photgraphing of this tree, along with another I'm sure Tom will use next.....)

It's gingko, probably close to 24" dbh and 60-65'~ish tall.

Jeff, I'll mix it up next time I post, so you don't have to sit out! Thanks for the backup!

BTW, JZ, that was a good guess... It does look a strong-central leader sycamore from a distance!

OK.

You must name the cultivar of this tree to get credit.

I tink dat tree is a Bradford pear, although if it is, it'll be the first Bradford Pear ever to exhibit downward growth patterns amongst the lower branches.

Bradferderos is the cultivar I believe

Come on, guys! Do you really think I would put a Callery Pear up for ID? It's a little harder than that! (Maybe not much! ;-))

The pink peonies are kind of uncommon, they are called 'Bowl of Beauty.' Timmy is not up for adoption, but he needs a babysitter from time to time! :)
