TreeMotion vs. Petzel Sequoia

I know that this topic has been beat to death lately, but...Are these saddles even in the same ballpark? Can you compare one to the other? I know that the TM has been around a bit and has great reviews, but how about vs. the Sequoia? I really do want a new saddle soon but am having trouble justifying spending that for a TM, so was considering the Sequoia solely based on looks and specs. What do you guys think?

If at all possible, try out both of them. go with what fits you the best, not what fits others the best. If you can't do that, don't spend more than you can afford.

That's the ticket. I have a Treeflex and hung out in a Sequoia last week at Fresco. I liked the Petzl. Nice custom hardware, light, and comfortable. My impression is that the Treeflex will prove to be the tougher saddle for treework. (Not that you asked about the Treeflex.)

I think im gonna buy a couple for my guys(the Petzl)and you can try one if ya'll come up next month.You can try my Tree motion to,maybe get a Dunlap over and try the tree flex.Make sure Keiths bringing you guys to my brothers place next month.(low key comp for newbees and greehorns or guys who do mostly sales).I think I 'll order the Petzls Tonight.

i like how the sequoia has a tight fit almost like a rock climbing harness, treemotion is a little bit bulky compared to it, i like the slim design of the petzl

...buying new saddles for everyone. I will definitely take you up on that though when we come up there. I would like to try them both, and if Tom decides to grace us with his presence, maybe he'd be kind enough to let me try his TreeFlex.

Does anyone know how the TreeFlex and Sequoia stack up against each other? Weight, bulk, comfort, conformity?
