Always when there is a question. Did some storm work for my brother here back in August and was uncertain of my TIP. Binocs saved my back side.Ever use binoculars to see TIP?Works well!
Don't leave home without them. No, but it's definitely a piece of kit to add.
I don't but they never make it out of my truck into the kit bag!Don't leave home without them.
No problem Mac. Got them on sale at Dick's Sporting goods. I think they list for like $130 or so, but even at that they seem to be a good value. I would have liked to have gotten the $300 Nikon Monarchs, but the $90 ones seemed to be almost as good, just a bit bulkier. I always have them when I do TRAQ assessments.Yeah I keep a pretty low rent pair in my gear bag, and they've saved me trouble. I gotta get a pair of those nikons, thanks for the name drop oak

That is double the force on anchor point ?
That way makes my mind warp..lolThe way to think of it is that not only are you pulling on the top of the tree down; but also the base of the tree up as well.
Instead of taking the time to reset I rationalized that it would be ok to get me in the tree. Where I should have stuck to proper protocol I took a shortcut. What would've saved me 10 minutes has cost me and the company at least 6+ mths let alone the pain and frustration of dealing with the healing process.
It's like thinking that when you are pushing against a tree the tree is pushing back atThat way makes my mind warp..lol
I'll definitely look at it.Rob I've been reading about a thing called ETTO - efficiency/thoroughness trade-off. Efficiency = getting it done, Thoroughness = getting it right. Trade-off = what we do ten times a day at work. Google or Youtube Erik Hollnagel. It's kind of what Dekker was talking about with the factors that influence the decisions we make.
