Too often we only hear about bad customer service that isn't resolved.
Here is a place where I have to share some praise for a company, a bit of a story that has a happy ending!
Last week I sent in the artwork and billing info for the TreeBuzz nametags from a company called
http://www.paperdirect.com/ They called me back and sent an email too telling me that my credit card payment hadn't gone through. I realized that I was a day late making my payment at my credit union. After making the payment I called
http://www.paperdirect.com/ back to have them run it through again. this was the end of the day and
http://www.paperdirect.com/ called/emailed again early the next morning to tell me that it hadn't gone through. My credit union must have not posted the payment or something. To expedite things I gave
http://www.paperdirect.com/ my debit card number and it processed. This was now mid-day on Friday. Over the weekend I realized that the shipping option that I chose would mean that the nametags might not meet me in Hartford until Friday...too late.
When I called
http://www.paperdirect.com/ early on Monday I was told that their shipping department would make an attempt to catch my package and change the shipping to overnight. No promises though. I asked if they would add the extra shipping costs and send me a new receipt. I was told by
http://www.paperdirect.com/ that they would pay the extra for shipping as a courtesy. WOW!
I checked into my hotel at 5:30pm tonight...and the package of nametags was waiting.
