Tree motion saddle

I thought I would reserve my opinions on the TM for a short while for fear of sounding like a sycophant...however, I can hold my tongue no longer.

When I first tried the TM at the APF Demo last year my child like excitement was somewhat dampened to find that my bulky frame did not sport the harness well. When I hung in it and moved I found that it did not feel quite as I'd hoped and I came away feeling somewhat disollusioned that I couldn't partake in the latest and greatest offering available to the tree climb community.

Since this first experience I resigned myself to the fact that I had not spent anytime in setting up the harness and consequently I could not draw any satifactory conclusions from this first exposure.

Thank f**k I did...this is surely one of the finest harnesses to be released to date. When given the opportunity to set it up correctly the fit of the TM is tantamount to a snug belt that doesn't pinch or restrict movement. It's "hipster" style means that it doesn't ride up whilst leaning to one side and crush your diaphram leading to shortness of breath, this coupled with what feels like infinite adjustability makes the Treemotion a damn fine harness and one which does alter your approach to climbing!

My humble yet heart felt congratulations to Chris, Mark and Beddes, a harness built by tree climbers for tree climbers.

Thanks to MattB's testamony for us "bulky framed" climbers, I am beginning to plan on saving up for a TM.

In the beginning I heard it didn't quite suit the bigger boys, but hopefully I can get my hands on one before I drop $490 on a saddle.

I have been climbing with my Tree Motion for a week now and like it (without a chainsaw). I don't like how the saw seems to pull the harness down to reveal your a-- crack.

It is definitely a "sports car" of a harness.

Comfortable: Yes!

Are there things to get used to? Absolutely.

Am I okay with the price? Yes.

Then you suffer from noassatall syndrome, and you need to spend the $122 extra to purchase the suspenders. Lets see... that brings the price to a mere $611.

I bet they're flying off the shelves!
