Tree Austria 3.1

I have used a 3.1 for three years with no problem in durability. The last year was not full time production climbing the first two were.

Just before ITCC in August I purchased a 3.2. I like it as much as the 3.1 if not a little more. The redesigned leg pads and added adjustments made a subtle, but noticable difference. The new leg straps make using spikes way more comfortable.

IMHO it is the best lighter weight (I use 'lighter' as in it does not weight much, not in reference to the work I perform in it). saddle out there in terms of comfort and durability.

Tony can you compare it to the treemotion? I was going to go for the 3.2 until climbing in Rob's tm and thinking of switching to the tm.

Hmmm, I would like to try that 3.2. Bring when we go for those beers. I totally liked the TM would have worn it all day due to the excellent back support. And the options to adjust and add on...

Sorry if I'm derailing Kelly.

I will have it with me at TCI in a few weeks. Or I can ship it to you for a spell.

Wow, that is quite an offer. What's the chances you could drop in over at Rob's in NJ on the way or way back from the TCI? He lives like 5 minutes from the GWB.

I sat in a 3.2 today at a supplier, I was only in it for minute or two. It was super simple and comfy, but the upper suspension straps seem oh so small. I like the adjustablity, and I would have to agree with Tony I'd spend the extra on the new style. Are those little webbing loops on the shackles for a flip line?

Sure, probably on the way up as I am always in a hurry to get back home!

The offer of a ride still stands as well. I can take up to three till it gets "uncomfortable" as in a close packed chip truck bench seat kinda way!
