Torque those knives!

A retired millwright at a local particleboard factory (Panolam) told me that they ordered Zenith knives once.......only once. btw. Panolam does their knife grinding in house on some humongous, fantastically expensive automatic knife grinder that was made in Germany. I forget how many knives are in their chipper (or flaker, or whatever it is called), but it is a lot, and they don't get very many hours on them before re sharpening.

I believe my last sets were ordered from Simonds. Had some Zeniths early in the game but heard bad stuff and noticed the knives seemed to 'crap the bucket' pretty quickly.

Correction: I said earlier my knives are 6" but they're actually 7 1/4"

Flat rate boxes from the usps...i ship 8 in a medium box...yeah its heavy (10x5.5x5/8)...something like $10 to anywhere in the states...same with stumper teeth for retipping.....send about 135 of them. Double box and tape, tape, tape.

Jeff- I'm going to bulk buy through www.americancuttingedge.com. Trying to use up the Vietnam crap before I start with these. Pretty good price for mine, $45/knife or so. They're American made and they'll do sharpening too.
