Same thing up here about 2 or 3 years ago. A relative sent me a photoshopped pic of a gent on his riding mower with a small snow plow attached to the front, clearing his driveway. The white snow was altered to yellow to look like pollen. Had to say it was pretty funny.About 5 years ago we had a spring where the pine, oak and wisteria pollen hit at the same time. On breezy days when you walked outside it was like getting covered in talcum powder.
It made it feel safe but the challenge of getting the last bit unstuck was a lucky. It turned as I cut the second side of the fork and pulled the grcs Up the tree yikes! It kinda slouched down into the next crotch but with a big pull and a second rig point we were able to get it down- a picture of it precariously sitting on this limb after it moved the grcsWhew! That lead is hung!

Yes, much butt puckery to be had that day. I know the feeling. I’ve scooted my Hobbs a couple times and I probably didn’t poop for a couple days each time.It made it feel safe but the challenge of getting the last bit unstuck was a lucky. "little should fall from above", now where's my balaclava?
Love that crane of yours. Wish I had a use for one.Got to prune a Sycamore Maple, prune a Honeylocust for an upcoming solar install, reduce a pretty well beat up Silver Maple, and take out an old trunk next to it. The old trunk was extremely rotten and wrapped in multiflora rose and bittersweet vines. When I made the stump cut I was amazed at how mushy it was.

Thanks! I’ve had it for a few years now and keep finding uses around my home and shop other than tree work. Ended up using it to build my old chip truck and my little log truck. Handy as anything.Love that crane of yours. Wish I had a use for one.![]()
