Things are moving along pretty much as well as they can. The bigger rigger won't be ready for a good while yet. You would probably do really well with the RigEm&Roll, but I'll let you wait until you see the video. I'll try and get the first copies out within two weeks, but it may be a little longer. Here's some more pictures of last weeks job.
It was a 32 inch water oak, dying, right between the street and a house. The power lines and telephone lines were about 35 feet from the house, with the tree over and through the wires, and over the roof of the house. There was no current in the lines, just telephone, cable, and a guy wire. (I called the power company before work started to verify that there was no current)
We used the RigEm&Roll to rig all the sections that were dead or near the wires to cut down on uncomfortable climbing. We switched to the choker for one top that was right over the boom pin and hard to place the RigEm&Roll over from that angle. Small little 15-ton crane for this job, the tree wasn't really very big, but hard to cut down because of the proximity of utilies, etc.
