throwline storage

If Santa has a big enough bank account, Faltheimer is the gold standard in cubes. I wouldn't know personally because Santa has told me I have been a naughty boy.:baaa:

Faltimer all the way mate , I have been really rough with mine and its living on strong .
my workmates one is 4 years old and has no problems .

My first one was a stein and it broke on the 3rd day of having it .

That reel from Tree Stuff is what I use. In concept it's the spool of a spincasting fishing reel. You "cast" with that laying on the ground. There are a couple of tricks to its use and then you rewind the spool with you as the "reel."

Like my first casting on a pond it was tangles and mess ups at first - almost zero after that. Great for Big Shot deployment etc..

I use an old army canvas round water bucket. Maybe 8" diameter by 12" tall? Anyways, Kristian Shultz gave me one a few years back and i friggin love it. He had someone sew a small pocket on the inside, for the first weight. I have three lines in it, plus a weight on each end, two spare weights, double snapper, extra retrieval balls, and a few mini biners. I use dividers between each line, never had a tangling problem at all. Prob could be found online for $10 maybe?

Anyways, its mire or less a poor mans faltheimer, and folds down similarly. Fits on top of one of my two CT haul bags perfect.

I use a small lunch bag, that has a smooth silver lining, its tiny, and has a zipped bottom, great for storing the cambium saver, its great if I get the target 1st time, straight out the bag...if I miss and there are sticks...its that bother...grr :)

Believe it or not, I still prefer a standard 3 gallon bucket. It holds the big shot head and still has room for a loopie and block or rings. I do use a cube in my climbing bag, but not the one that folds into a triangle. I hate those things!

The bag is tough. I've already smacked mine a couple times. Old yard signs make great dividers for it. My boss found a thin sheet of rubber mat for his tote.

Also, you can fit a tarp and either a helmet or 150' of rope on top of your throw line. I currently have imori in mine.
