im not 100% happy with the bottom roller assembly yet, it is too fine a line between easy release and creep on slick rope.

That's where you need a guy my size to beta test it. If there is any creep or slippage, I'll find it.

thank you guys again, i love the enthusiasm. like i said, there is still a lot of work to do getting this thing dialed in. at this point my plan is to put up a website and go for a kickstarter to raise the funds i need to get this going for real. i need to get a desktop cnc router to allow me to make all the small changes i need to get this really dialed, in a reasonable time frame. it takes a full week to make a unit at my present shop . i dont want to take money from anyone till there is a clear goal/expectation to put it towards. at the moment, the creeping is the main problem. i have a few ideas to try to solve it, and if those look promising i will have a test unit i could send out. we shall see. just for fun, heres a pic of the graveyard of dreams...

I thought about the Kickstarter route but there is a clause about the not allowing safety equipment. I had it all set up for the rope ru,er but in the end concluded it might be problematic
