I realized I sew wierd things some times. Here's a pic of a project in progress. See if you can guess what it is. I'll post a pic now, then more later is it gets closer to being done.

Oh...woops...I think everything is of scale. That is a mini iron on a mini ironing board!

A kilt? HAH! Sure looks like it.

This pic will give a better idea of the size.

It is a pair that will always be used together. For outdoor use.

It still could be a small lamp shade!

No wait, upon closer inspection, they have the elastic on the back, so they are meant to fit around something, or slide onto something to possible shade it?

Looks like good craftsmanship whatever it is!

I wasn't going to ask what that "elixir" was......

but that is pretty interesting to learn about. I will have to try this mixture of Dr. Pepper and rusty nails.

I've been rafting 3 or 4 times near Moxie Falls in Maine. Great rafting!

The first one is finished. I just have to sew the zipper on the last one, and I'm done!

Here's the finished products!

In my job, I have to spend quite some time checking out young trees scattered throughout the chaparral. I was sick of spending time cleaning the seeds and rocks and dirt out of my shoes.

I have a pair of gaiters that I was wearing occasionally, but they are waterproof, non-breathable nylon better suited for the snow. They were way too hot to wear around here.

I couldn't find any shorter ones around here, so why bother shipping them in?

Darned zippers ran me $7 for the pair, but everything else was dirt cheap.

I know one thing....there are a couple of us that wear them. They are allllll black. I'm sure if someone finds a pair in the truck that are red plaid, they will know who they belong to!

Are you making fun????

All the other fabrics were way to heavy or not breathable.

Ohhh...maybe that was a typo. Perhaps you meant, "grey." If they looked grey, you might confuse for the other black ones, too!

It's okay...I'm confident in my masculinity.
