"The view from my office."

Re: \"The view from my office.\"

As far as the orange T shirts go, most local governments will give their employees the chioce- wear an orange T-shirt or a uniform shirt, but if you are working in traffic you need to put on a safety vest over the white or green uniform shirt. With the orange T-shirt, safety vests aren't required.
Look at the pic again. Notice all the guys with button-up shirts have safety vests on.

Not sure I follow you. The Jovial Forester sounds like a Pub to me but I've not heard of that one, and I know most of the pubs round here!) Is there something in the background I'm missing?

Re: \"The view from my office.\"

When you all get back from ITCC lets have some more tree top views. I've only had two new ones, I'd like to get together some from as many countries as possible, and more from the UK too. Scan in your old pics if you don't have digital, I know you've all "done a Nathan" and snapped yourself in a tree top!

Re: \"The view from my office.\"

The J.F. was a pub that I visited with 28 of my best friends on Rugby tour in 85. We were hosted by Stroud during that portion of the trip. My boss and I climbed up on the roof and got our picture snapped - being the euc men that we were. I really enjoyed that part of the world.I day dream about going back, perhaps a cycling tour now that my days as a rugger are done.

Re: \"The view from my office.\"

i worked on a 35 foot tall pacific yew last week ill try and send photos when they come back. awesome view fron an ancient tree

Re: \"The view from my office.\"

The view is about 30miles from stroud, but the landscape is very similar. Not familiar with the J.F pub but I know the stroud area well so I'm sure I'll spot it one day.

Re: \"The view from my office.\"

I wasn't sure what to expect then mark, but nearly fell off my chair laughing when I saw the pic! Have you been talking to Craig too much? I think I see a whole new thread opening up! Bikinis from around the world? Not much of that thing going on here, just girls on horses, this is Polo country. The UK final comp was held about 300m from where Prince Charles was playing polo and some of the spectators dissapeared to watch that instead.

Did you get that video clip I sent you?

Re: \"The view from my office.\"

The view from the branch office: Stringybark Eucalyptus obliqua forest: fog over the Huon River in SouthWest Tasmania. The line in the far right side side is a clearcut boundary. Yuck.

Unfortunately there is not as much pedestrian traffic nearby, but some of the trees hit 260 feet.

Here's the view that we shared from the top of the Tree House Redwood when we pruned it. Brian Noyes took the shot. It is of the north fork of the Eel River in Northern California. You can also see Highway 101. A bunch of the members here shared this view. It is one of my favorites!

Couldn't resist. Now, here's a real pretty shot of the mist in the area around the Bogachiel Spruce.

Here's one from yesterday. The hills in the distance are New Jersey, The tree is in Pennsylvania. It didn't show up but High Point Memorial is in the middle of the picture. It is the highest point in New Jersey.
