The road goes ever on..

Wow! The countryside is gorgeous! Oh yeah... and the tree work is pretty good too (y). Where's all the dust that I've come to fondly associate with South Adelaide? Is that "one down?"

I admit I've enjoyed a lot of your videos, but I could not watch this one all the way through. The constant fading in and out ... and partial fades ... made it too difficult to see ... too distracting. I apologize mate, and it's probably just my own old way of trying to view things.

Thankyou John, that is the Barrossa, wine country and cattle . no bulldust out that ways but unfortunately some BS.
I was pulled off that job by the company I was contracting to and thats it for the filming of that particular job only got two days in and so came up with a plan to maximise what little footage I had so far by incorporating the drive sequence as a whole instead of a snippet here and there.
A lot more arty than tree work this one but no over the top seizure causing effects more another direction on what can be done with transitions,
ohh and making Bixler work harder on his next one after he sees this .
and I believe there was some mention of a cottonwood vid ....... John?

I could not watch this one all the way through.
that is not a problem I did consider just how far away I was pushing the boundaries but went on the arty side with this edit.
next vid is going to be classic smash down of a large pink gum it a tight spot promise no arty just a hard and fast cut, actually it is going to be a real fast and hard edit to some banging music so hope I don't drift too far the other way on you. :D

Could I please have a volunteer from the audience please?,
I am not on Facebook and do not intend to though Jesse did get me onto instagram ( same account name there ) but thats about my limit.
If some brave person would post this vid on face book on my behalf that would be well appreciated really would like to get some exposure on this particular vid due to the sheer amount of hours that went into the finished product.
anyone wanna help this Aussie lad out? :hola:

I apologize mate
oh yeah and no need to apologise to me your opinion is just as valid as the next blokes all are welcome some might not be asked to stay overnight but thats life, some wise person on here told me something about by trying to please all people he ended up by pleasing none or something like that - good advice.

Cool it's what we all do. Look at trees as we drive along. Greatly appreciated so wish we had ours here in eastern north America, the sweet chestnuts and American elm wood sure to compare

Couldn't find it on YouTube can't pull it off here. Can you send me the YouTube link and I'll post it.

Just in case it hasn't happened yet via a back channel.

Tim

P.S. I just figured out that the link is positioned at the top left in the video box, and looks like the title or the name of the file, as created by the person who uploaded the video. Hovering the mouse cursor over it shows it to be an active link. I think if you right click on it, and then left click on the "Copy video URL" command, it will put it on your computer's clipboard, and allow you to "Paste" it elsewhere. At least that's the way it happens for me using Windows 7 O.S., and Opera browser.
