I am finding the down time after a big day when I am still all wired in go time easier to deal with when prior to the vids I used to spend that time on the playstation shooting' shit.
the games don't really relax me just make me tired by wearing my mind out , nothing actually creative comes out of the time invested and I have certainly spent some in the past.
if I was better set up I would probably be in a shed making stuff I do find that very soothing just knocking around.
so in the meantime I will be happy to continue
smashdown production therapy.

cheers for the repost Tim much appreciated.

Ben, you are most welcome for the re-post of the video here.
I'll try to quote and respond to a post from Steve in order to ask him if he's had any luck yet trying to post to Facebook. I'm not on Facebook, so I'm unable to do it myself, and unable to verify whether or not it has been done.
Video editing and posting to YouTube is an amazing phenomenon, in my opinion as an old guy. The ability to share aspects of your life with everyone on the planet with an internet connection is just amazing. Especially when it's the big guns of the arb world showing how it is that they do what they do. With many other occupations, it is just not possible due to restrictions on the use of cameras.
Another aspect of this capability that I wonder about is the long-term committment of Google to the cache of material that they are accumulating. I need to read up on their policy statement in this regard. As big as Google is, these videos may still be around 20, 30, 50 or 100 years from now. This repository may end up being used for research in the future.
I guess I'm thinking that it would be cool if your grandchildren or other descendants could see your face and hear your voice, long after you are gone. I know it probably feels like you might be giving up too much privacy when you do this.
I can tell you from my perspective, though, when I see the faces and hear the voices of people like August Hunicke, Kevin Bingham, Reg Coates and all the other great arborists out there, all I get is a warm feeling of friendship for these guys. It sounds funny, but I truly love them all, for what they've brought to my life. I can't forget to mention JohnnyPro, as I feel he risked a lot to expose himself the way he did. I love him, too.
This forum and the members of it feels like a brotherhood to me.
