The New Notch Equipment Brand - For arborists by arborists

Those look they are from ww2, where would you find something like that?

Here's a link to the company that makes them(edit, I think they make them, they may only sell them.). Their price was about $90. I believe a few months ago. The site says to register to get prices but I got prices right over the phone. I've had mine about 15 years, maybe more. Time flies.

I believe these are the exact ones I have:

Looks around at their site. They may have something ever better as they sure have a lot of stuff.

the 2.8x and 3.5x would work really well too I bet:

A good sturdy backpack gear bag would be real nice. I don't climb as much as most of these guys but when I do I'm trekking through mud and debris. A single shoulder strap ain't cutting it anymore. Especially since it ripped out five hikes ago. Btw is there a warranty on the Treestuff rigging rope bags? Kidding of course. I've obviously abused mine

My metolius is just getting broke in good. It's fun to watch someone pick it up. Too much shit in it I guess. I'll definitely buy more of them. One thing I won't waiver on. It'll be metolius bags from here on. I've got a cheap TS bag I won at a comp that fell apart

Metolius has you covered there too. It's got shoulder straps and a kidney belt too.

$80-90 like 6, almost 7 years ago. Been using it for work everyday for 4. Almost 300' of rope in the big pocket with small accessory pockets in there, another big pocket for accessories, seperate pocket for "friction management", seperate one for ascenders ("ascent pocket" haha), side pockets for little stuff like saw lanyards or water bubbies. And a laptop pocket behind the back pad that k keep my throwline in. Sorry folks, fuck ya otha bags, cuz this one's gotcha beat.

@treebilly kidney belt, chest belt, the whole nine.

Check your local army navy store before you buy a bag

@Tripp Wyckoff something along these lines would be nice.

Here is my filing kit. The Ridged box is around $30 at Home Depot and has a lifetime warranty. Has a gasket that keeps everything dry. All my round files have color coded drinking straws on them according to file size.

Does anyone have feedback on their ground protection mats? They are quite a bit cheaper than alturnamats and weigh about the same.
I asked same question when they started post still waiting for an answer I need 10-12 and a buddy the same. The started this post hot and heavy and then fizzled out.

Hey guys, I thought I answered this one. The Notch Yard Armor Mats are .3mm thinner and a bit lighter but have the same or better impact and weight ratings.

We offer a lifetime guarantee on them like all Notch products (except if you bomb wood on them and puncture them, we know what that looks like!!). We have had them out in the field all winter and summer before that with great reviews. The new RED color should be even better as it absorbs less sunlight and is super easy to see.
