The fundementals of general tree work book by jerry beranek.

This book was brought to my knowledge by watching August Hunickie's interview of Jerry. It is no longer in print. I was able to get my hands on one. I too think it is a great publication of real life tree work. Reading the book I was getting flashbacks of the old guys at work years ago giving me tips. And Facts! Does anyone know where any copies of this book can be found? Would like to give a few away for Christmas. Thanks

ABE Books might be a source

My library has a signed copy that could be bought
Thanks for the reply the one I have is also sighed. So I'm just looking for a lightly used copy for a couple guys at work that are doing a great job. Maybe Jerry will put it back into print. I think they would once again sell.

I have a copy myself, and of High Climbers and Timber fallers. They’re both phenomenal books on the history of loggers and climbers, particularly the PNW kind

@Muggs (Patrick) created a project a while ago to digitalize and make available Beraneks work as an ebook.

High Climbers and Timber Fallers is fantastic as well, it's all stories of different jobs and loggers over the years, all with full color photography. Beautiful book. Word on the street is that it might go the way of the Fundamentals in the next couple of years...
