Here’s a few Pics of Tom D. and I at the Demo Tree. Tom was gracious enough to accept my invitation to help out with the SRT Demo that he put on. I hope to do it again with him next year in Hartford. Tom did the speaking (thank goodness), but I did get to climb a little, which was quite the thrill.

This was the most solid and useful demo tree that I've been in. The structure lent itself to all of the aspects of SRT that I wanted to show to people.

Thanks Chris!

I wish that I had more pics of Tom in the demo tree to post that shows the different SRT tools and techniques.

It was all very informative. Thank you Tom, you did all the work.

If God wanted demo trees he would have given birds chainsaw feet.

Never said I wanted trees to look like that, that would be awful. I just want to climb the demo tree at an expo

I was using a very basic SRT setup, which was a variation of the Frog Walker system

That's my system for up to about 45 feet. Above that, snap on a hand ascender and foot loop and start walking.

Missed seeing again Jim at the Expo, but Tom said that you had to work. I can understand that.

Yeah, there was a good turnout for a Sat. morning after I know what a long night out on the Town can be like.
