Ha! Thanks BOTS - tailgate tommy starting slow, putting a fresh edge on that saw.

Love that go pro it shows everything.

wow biXler!

Man, here is how good your videos have gotten:

I got a text today from someone, telling me that your latest video was good, so I got on the buzz to see it.

You have 25 video posted I think.

Daniel has like 200.

You have done in 25 videos what Daniel will be lucky to ever achieve in his lifetime.

The music was PERFECT for the video. It was peaceful, yet held the viewer to wait and see what was next.

I really liked the little addition to tiddy up the XRR sling so it was tighter to the stem also.

Didn't I send you some sample gloves? IF I did and they wore out or something wrong with them, please share, I'm all about the truth.

Really nice calm video that was not boring. Like artwork man.

Will do Wou, glad you liked it.

X, Ha yes, you called it, I am the next Daniel! He will be proud.

That was the first time I used the XRR, I should have moved the sleeve over a little but I'll remember that next time. I put the ring probably 40 ft up the tree where it had a slight bow in it. The guys used the ring and not the stein for all of those branches, i thought that was cool. Because if they used the stein the branches wouldn't zip over to them like they did.

Yes, you sent me gloves, they are so beautiful I didn't want to wear them. Wearing them for oak crane work tomorrow.

I like it... good job. I did notice that while you were taking the ride after the top came out your flip line slipped down past the block on to the rigging. May be brace your self better by pushing against the trunk that way slack wont develop in the flip line...? Also not sure if the ropes were still running...
Good vid, loved the music and editing

I commented on YouTube. like "X" I thought this video was great. Well put together and kept me watching. It was the perfect length. Music was good. I like calm at times.

I liked the video, after watching your vid i wonder if using a rigging prussik with carabiner and sling on the rigging line to take multiple branches would be doable? You could slide it to different whirls and add a rigging plate and take multiple branches. The termination end would still be utilized. Anyway enough of my rambling good work.

Thank you lonniels. Good idea, I'll have to try that, I think it would work just fine.

Ha! Yea a little bit. I was in that tree a year ago, used it as a rigging point to swing some oaks out from over the house. It was a bit easier then, because that retaining wall hadn't been built yet.

A very easy to watch and well done vid, great choice of music too!

I'm not to sure of the reason for the X ring for that application as the lowering rope seemed to run down the trunk.

Also the shortening on the sling that you did to get the eye close to the trunk,in that manner, would under load, pull out the twists somewhat and loose that close to the wood aspect.
