Tall Plane tree

Kathy, they used this tree for the Master's. Everyone was hacking away as soon as they ascended. We climbed in them all week and I tried to hold my breath when ripping through the leaves. It wasn't very successful though.

I am unfamiliar with the Plane tree, I dont think it grows up here in Minnesota. What is the reason for the leaves making you cough?

Thanks

Plane trees have fuzz on the underside of their leaves, very allergenic and irritating to the throat and eyes. They are a devil to saw in and chip too, tonnes of fibre in the air.

Sure can tell they're related to "slickamore".

In that second shot the folding chair and gear bags(?) looked like christmas lights to me for a moment; and it looks like the event was sponsored by one or more cordage manufacturers!

:)
