No. Mine sounds the same as before greased by me. I wear earplugs with batt saws. I prefer things as quiet as possible.

I’ve been told you have to stay on greasing it IF you ever grease the bearing.

Best not start then!

Cons: Heavy.
Pros: Good power, easily my favourite TD saw, I bought the ground saw equivalent for my employee so with the coms as well we’re very calm.
I had the 536 before, not enough guts for the bigger stuff, this is fine.
The weight means you have to be very deliberate about stowing it, which I struggle to get used to.
Overall, it’s a yes from me.

No, I started in ‘95 the 020 av was the saw to have.
My Dad had a little yellow Partner top handle with a push oiler.
By that time I think the US makes had become homeowner stuff.
