Supertrees!

So whaddya do when you're on the equator, have $1 billion to build a garden, and are persuaded that fullsized trees cannot be grown in urban areas??

Simple--just build them out of steel and epiphytes!

well yes bingo; that is my mission here as everywhere, but communicating that is ultratricky. Keeping trees looking "trim" here is known as raising and gutting to any arborist who appreciates the value of natural form.
Like with live oaks in FL etc, many have the aesthetic opinion that trees look best when shaped like umbrellas, ruining them for any other option in the process. not to mention making them decayed and topheavy = higher risk.
