Suckers - What do you tell the client?

Went to send you a pm and found this website.

http://www.arborx.com/

when is this "forum" gonna open up? I wanna go on it and cause some trouble. Prob wouldn't last too long with everyone just saying what they know personally would it?

Where's the "Links"? No links cause he knows it all, doesn't believe in reading and only believes in what someone witnesses personally.

"We can take down trees that nobody else can" lol

Just overbid every td over the next week and then go back later and see if they are still there. Take downs are easy. Learning is hard. Crack a book son. Don't want to be a "tree garbage removal company" your whole life do ya?

Dear Xman

I do not post on treebuzz any more because of people like you. You would seem to contradict your web site in that you are neither professional or polite.

If I follow a thread and make contact with a "Buzzer" off line via the telephone that is because the conversation is private.
I have had many private calls with American tree workers. for the most part good. I have also worked extensively in the USA including Maryland.

One day when you`v grown you will see there is no need for school boy handles and logos, till then. I would recommend you purchase some crayons and paper and sit quietly at the back of the class till home time.

why would you want to start trouble with the company? I am an individual person on treebuzz. It has nothing to do with the company Arbor-X Inc. If you attack Arbor-X Inc, you are attacking all the employees that work for the company that respect the company and work hard for their paycheck. If you hurt the company you are hurting the employees. I should let the employees know that you are interested in attacking them.

Did i write that? Maybe I did. I did the website with my nephew in one evening. I wrote the text for it on the spot. In like 2003 or so. It actaully has worked out. Customers repeatedly tell me that it is not extra wordy like most websites. Tell me that I tell it like it is, plain and simple. If I said, "we can take down trees that nobody else can", then I think that wording should be changed. I know why I must have said that though. We definitely do removals where other tree companies tell the customer that they don't want to do the job. Numerous times, other companies have told the customer to get "Driver" or "Arbor-X" to do it. Maybe they think we are good at it? Maybe they hope I will get killed. Either way, they turn down the job and refer me to do the job. I will check my website later to see if that was my exact words.

you assume too much. you think that we are only a tree removal company? why? just because our youtube videos are tree removals? Most people do not want to watch trimming, airspade root work, planting, cabling, etc. I will get around to attempting to make an exciting video on these things one day though. But what if I was a strictly tree removal company? What is SO bad about that? Reg Coates and Gerry Beranek mostly do tree removals I'm sure; and I think they have lived an interesting hard working respectable career.

If I show you we do tons of trimming and root work; will that stick a knife through your fagot tongue and your lower jaw of your stupid running mouth? IF so, I would like to post a 25 page work contract we just finished up. You can read it word for word and see the prices. I haven't counted, but it was like 40 or more mature trees to deadwood prune, plus some removals, plus some extensive airspade root work to remove compacted soil over large beech tree root zone where they created a driveway (not paved yet).

Oh, what else do I get into? Well, just this week, Wednesday, I drove 3 hours with a co-worker and spent the whole day teaching forestry students in their Urban Forestry class to rope rig a tree removal. A decent sized silver maple tree, 1/3 of the tree over the house, 1/3 over a PVC fence. I had multiple students in the tree at the same time. The instructor wanted the STUDENTS to do the work! They did half the tree. Butt ties, then tip ties, then spider leg balancer, near balance point rigging and chunking off. Time started to run out and I wrecked the tree fast as I could with a speedline and felling large sections. Both of us got paid NOTHING and missed a day of work. Our reward...? satifaction giving education to others.

Now, I'm not going to assume that you do not do these things. There is a good chance that maybe you do. I'm just wondering? Do you?

All I know is that another tree buzzer, OldDirty knows you in person and pretty much calls you a peice of garbage.

NO ONE that knows me in person speaks of me like that.

My forum personality has nothing to do with my business, nor how I act proffessionally. My forun personality is recreational and free spirited. So, as EASY says it so plain and simple to Daniel, "BITE ME!"

What happened to the valuable discussion about pruning??? You know trees??? Why dont you guys put your swords away and actually add something to this forum other than hate and discontent. If Im not mistaken this place is for learning and teaching the younger generation so that they dont make the mistakes we all have made. I know, I know X and Vet you guys never make mistakes. But Ill own up to it. Now the only suckers I see are they guys wasting there time reading this thread thinking that it might come back to topic. See I said I would own up to my mistakes.

"methinks thou dost protest too much"

yeah you are a hack takedown company. yup, you don't want to ever read a book or learn anything from researchers...that is what you should remain. better for the trees.

Just wondering..if your kid (if you have one) gets a bad cold and you give them aspirin and sleep and it gets worse, what do you do? Just give them more and more sleep and aspirins? Hopefully you give them a doctor's appointment and ultimately some antibiotics if they have pneumonia. Where does that treatment come from? Research. Where did you come up with this airspade treatment? Research you likely read about on here not invented by your own observation.

And as for takedowns...there is nothing you have done that I have not done a thousand times before, and like I said, overbid just ONE of those boggling East Coast takedowns and go back a week later and see if it is still there. I rest my case, you have delusions of grandeur.

At 63 I will outwork, outknowledge, outlift, or outclimb (spikes or no...you prob can't even climb without spikes) or out anything you for money. You are the blowhard. You live in squalor, are almost a senior citizen and a "contract climber" with nothing and going no where and been no where.

You ask me to post vids and I give you my entire video library. Never stepped foot into a bucket until 1991 and made so much climbing I bought tons of equipment including a 55 foot and 75 foot bucket and crane etc etc. Into making money for the family not sitting on the run down back porch inventing stuff that has no use and is a joke.

Lol, Treevet. I hope you're not having a go at besmudgement. You're terrible at it.

So far, I think you get the dickhead of the thread award. Your tone and attack style reek of unwashed penis. Also, it's not funny, and that is the key to besmudgery.

Found this pic on your website, Treevet. Doesn't look too pro to me.

By the way, your website is pretty basic, bordering on terrible. If I were you, I would refrain from critiquing other websites until you have yours in order.

Not for nothing, Treevet, but most of the squalor looks like it is behind the fence. Might not be Jomoco's property, but I like how you leap like a senior citizen to conclusions about the young punks and the squalor they live in. You would probably be fascinating to talk to sometime...nah, probably not.

I tell my clients that 95 percent of the time trees know what they're doing far better than we do. That absent some hugely over-riding factor, it''s wise to go with the flow and let them have their way or risk losing them altogether.

That nature walks are very educational for a reason.

My original question stands unanswered. I have unsuccessfuly looked for an answer.

I understand (plant class was a long time ago) the cellular mechanics of how they form and what they do over time.

Why, o why, are they called water sprouts? Sorry again for the earlier misnomer. It seems to me that suckers have similar growth characteristics.

I am looking for a study that compares the photosynthetic capacity and/or transpiration capacity of the adventitious tissues to standardly formed tissues.

[/ QUOTE ]

This is teh closest I could come up with (simple search at auf site--anyone can be an ISA boffin, Blinky!)

http://joa.isa-arbor.com/request.asp?Jou...ue=6&Type=1

and this study involved sprouts, as well as calling into question strict adherence to the slanted-cut approach that we have all been taught, no matter which deity we think may have taught it.

http://joa.isa-arbor.com/request.asp?Jou...ue=5&Type=1

In botany lit there is probably something more specific to your question, which would have to be narrowed a lot to be an hypothesis.
Gives an idea of the technology and statistics involved. Daunting!
The 3Rs is still a good starting point, unless the tree says otherwise. Remove 1/3, reduce 1/3--also a good approach re posts on the last 3 pages of this thread!
