stressed Magnolia

We have a drought stressed Southern Magnolia also with construction stress. Soil is very compacted and may of been some root damage. We are gonna do some soil decompaction , just curious about some other suggestions to help the trEe ?

Soaker hose the area and if you can trace back the excavation or damage of the roots and give them clean cuts, top dress with compost and finally mulch.

This product is amazing! Been using it for 3 years in stressed tree/new planting applications. 4lbs/100gal, 3 gal for every inch of DBH recommended. Inject into the soil 4-6" deep(when moist) on a grid pattern under the entire drip line on 18" centers.
