Straight Point Impact Block

I emailed them for a price and finally got an email from them saying they were having trouble emailing so they would need my phone number to give me a price ???

The company is from Austrailia.

I figured it was just a ploy to be able to give me a sales pitch. They may have been overwhelmed with the exposure here.

It would almost be worth it to give them your phone number, with the admonishment that they're only to call you during business hours in your time zone. Let the idgits stay up until dark:30 to call you with that sales pitch. :bananas:

So you're telling me you emailed them, they emailed you.... And they couldn't type 4 numbers a comma and a dollar sign (or whatever symbol they use)? I guess they do have an email problem!! Or maybe it's 5 Numbers!

DMM made 10 of these for limited release. They connect wirelessly directly to a enabled laptop and provide the accuracy, range and performance you would expect fromDMM

Last I heard some were still left. $5000.00 a piece.

The enforer is a geat tool. I use one regularly for training. The DMM version would be overkill for anything but dedicated research. Which is what they were designed for.

Hooking a dyno to a block has disadvantages in when extremely accurate results are the goal

Getting things to the arboorist industry always seems this way, we have to pull from other fields and try to make them work or end up with stuff that just is not quite right.
...a highly accurate bench test load cell that we are going to throw up in the tree or hang on a crane with so many variables it masks the need for that accuracy. Or a suitably accurate load cell that won't broadcast far enough to be functional when it is tossed into the tree.
Grrrrr....
