Hi folks, wishing you all good health and good spirits.

On my 10 yr old (approx) MS200T, the attachment point where the lwr left side (wraparound) handle joins the saw body came apart. (See attachment, where indicated)

I've had the handle off before when I had to replace the pull cord, and as I remember the handle is all one piece. If any of you know a good source or REAL, OEM Stihl parts that deal at reasonable prices, please let me know. I'd also be VERY interested in anyone who would sell that piece in good condition from a used saw. Lastly, if there's a REPAIR, like some kinda slick fix anyone has done that works, that's be cool too. I have to look more closely at it. It seems there's a core fastener, thru the handle, that might be made out of some kinda nylon or polymer material, where it joins. I'd certainly LOVE to be able to buy just that part.

Otherwise I'll just have to go to my dealer. Not the end of the world. Thanks again people!!

Well if this happens to HAPPEN to you, there is good news... looks like the spline (#23) and the "annular buffer" (#22) can be had separately from the handle, for like $11. So hopefully my local shop will have them in soon, and my tree saw will prevail!
